A multi-media presentation plays throughout the day called 1914 The Year in Review that gives our visitors background about what was happening locally, provincially, nationally, and internationally in the year that is represented in Doon Heritage Village. Follow the year 1914 from skating on Berlin's Victoria Park on New Year's Day, to the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife Sophie, through the Christmas Day truce in the trenches of Europe during the First World War.
